What to expect

Your first visit will be a consultation. This will be the time for your allergist to take a thorough history and physical exam. At this visit a plan for appropriate allergy testing will be made. A subsequent appointment will be made for allergy testing. A skin test appointment typically takes about an hour and a half.  Other types of tests such as patch testing and breathing tests may be required as well.  Your first visit is very important in establishing the framework for your plan of care.
